The VP1xx Family provide solutions for Voice over Digital Subscriber Line (VoDSL), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications, and other voice over packet applications. They include all the necessary functions for feature-rich products, integrating DSP Group's DSP processors and mixed-signal technology together with the optimized, field-proven speech coding, fax modem and telecom algorithms.

The VP1xx family is ideally suited for use as the voice band processing engine of VoDSL Integrated Access Devices (IADs) and VoIP gateways for cost-sensitive customer-premises equipment applications.
